Salt Lake City Board of Adjustments unanimously voted and approved a private modern residence located in the Foothill Residential III district of Salt Lake City, Utah. Arcflo presented a parametric 3d model to the Board of Adjustments which clearly communicated the hardships associated with the natural topography of the project site. Arcflo’s design was granted a special exception to exceed the zoning height restriction by 3 feet! The Board also granted Arcflo a special exception to exceed the grade change of the natural topography by over 2 feet!
In the spring of 2008 Arcflo became a certified planner & installer of Logix 3rd generation ICF block. ICF’s are insulated concrete forms which are used in green construction. While conventional wood construction achieves an insulative value of R-19, the high efficiency green insulated concrete forms boast a preformance R-value of R-50. Arcflo is excited about all of their current construction projects that were designed with ICF block.
After countless hours of planning meetings with the Public Works Department, the Architectural Review Board of Sandy City and Mi Ranchito Mexican grill, Sandy City Council unanimously voted in favor of the 7500 square foot adition to the existing Mi Ranchito Mexican Grill located at 9550 South State Street directly across the street from the Southtown Expo Center in Salt Lake City Utah. Mi Ranchito wanted a building that told their story a little more accurately than their existing stucco box. Arcflo was hired as a consultant to fascilitate the 3d modeling, project management and construction documents of the renovation / addition to the new restaurant.
Kaysville City approves the annexation of Davis County land purchased by a private party for the development of Boynton Estates. After previously denying this project Kaysville City Council approved this project based on the renderings of the master plan produced by Arcflo and their 3d modeling software. Once everyone viewed the 3d renderings they could fully understand the reality of the development the positive impact it will create for the community. With 3d renderings in place the city council could confidently approve this unique development.
Visual Motion trade publication featured two photo realistic renderings that were created and produced by Arcflo using a 3d parametric modeling software to create the scene model, materials and lighting that make these renderings seem so lifelike.
